The certified territory maps are the legal documents that define the retail electric service area of electric suppliers regulated by the Commission (Kentucky Statute 278.017). All of these maps are on file at the PSC. They have been scanned and are available as PDF documents. Most of them are USGS topographic maps from the 1980s signed by both utilities and stamped by the Public Service Commission. These were used to compile this coverage. The positions of service area boundaries on this coverage are estimated to be accurate within 100 feet.
